While we were all getting merry with Karaoke4Charley last night, one intrepid hiker was planning for the day ahead. Now that August has rolled around, Emily Hunt has kicked off her “not for the faint hearted” Hike4Charley.
Throughout August, she will be doing 30 hikes in 30 days in the Chamonix valley. Her total metres ascent estimate (how many metres vertical) for all the hikes is about 26,500 metres and she will be hiking for an average 5-6 hours per day (in between going to work full time)!
Here is her Facebook feedback from the first three days:
#Hike4Charley Day 1: Chamonix – Plan de l’Aiguille-Le Signal-Montenvers. Please donate generously to: https://www.gofundme.com/2csb3vg and when you do, comment #hike4charley !
